July 6 (UDN):A school bus carrying students got stuck in thick mud in Jharsuguda district after continuous rainfall turned a temporary earthen road into a slippery stretch.

The bus became stranded when its wheels sank into the slush while travelling to school. However, all students on board were safely rescued, and no injuries were reported.

Locals and authorities quickly responded to the situation and helped evacuate the children safely. The incident highlights the difficulties faced during heavy rains, especially on temporary or poorly maintained rural roads.

Officials have advised caution while using such routes during the monsoon and stressed the need for better road conditions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
