Narsinghpur, May 28: A felicitation ceremony was organized by Champeshwar Champanath Dev Junior College under Narsinghpur Block to honour the successful students of the +2 Arts stream.
The program was held under the chairmanship of college principal Subasini Sadangi. Senior lecturers Fakir Charan Das, Subas Chandra Sadangi, Bhagirathi Raut, and lecturers Sangeeta Tripathy and Sushama Panda attended the event.
During the ceremony, student Pratiksha Sahu, who became the block topper by securing 560 marks in the +2 Arts examination this year, was felicitated with a bouquet, shawl, and trophy. Principal Mrs. Sadangi stated that Pratiksha had broken the college’s 35-year academic record in the Arts stream.
Similarly, Smarita Raul, who secured second position in the college with 544 marks, along with 12 meritorious students including Shrabani Nayak, Purnima Maharana, Bishnu Priya Nayak, Bandita Priyadarshini, Satyabhama Sahu, Archana Bhol, Rajeshwari Panda, Subhadra Ghadei, Seema Pradhan, and Sonali Mallik, were also felicitated by the college authorities.
Staff members including Bichitrananda Das, Prabhat Panda, Rashmita Nayak, and Biswambar Raut assisted in conducting the programme.
