Malkangiri, April. 29: On the occasion of World Malaria Day, a district-level training program was organized through the joint collaboration of the District Health Society and Piramal Foundation in Malkangiri.
As part of the initiative, a special action plan for the year 2026–27 was prepared to make the district malaria-free. The plan focuses on the “3T strategy” — Trace, Test, and Treat — to effectively control and eliminate malaria.
Officials and health workers took a pledge to make the district malaria-free by promoting the use of mosquito nets and ensuring timely medical treatment.
