Bhubaneswar, Sept 28 [UDN}:WCM (Ward Committee Management) training was conducted for all wards of E-Malkangiri Gram Panchayat under Dasmanthpur Block of Koraput district. The programme focused on the formation of ward committees and house tagging in the respective wards.
The training and meeting were held at Bhishmacharya Choudhury, E-Malkangiri, under Dasmanthpur Block. During the programme, participants were oriented about the responsibilities and functioning of ward committees, along with the process of house tagging to ensure proper identification and coverage of households.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening grassroots-level community participation, improving coordination at the ward level and ensuring effective implementation of various government welfare and development programmes in the panchayat area.
