Bhubaneswar, Sept 22 [UDN}:A tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh has claimed the lives of eight people, including seven members of an Odia family. Following the incident, an Odisha government team held discussions with the bereaved families and reviewed the arrangements related to the victims.
The Odisha government has also discussed the matter with the Madhya Pradesh government. Officials are coordinating the process for retrieving and transporting the mortal remains, with the bodies expected to be brought out shortly, according to the latest information.
Expressing deep grief over the tragic incident, the Odisha Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each for the family of every deceased person.
The Chief Minister expressed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed to Lord Jagannath that such a tragic incident should never happen to anyone.
