Bengaluru, Dec 22: A group of employees at Guidewire Software, a property and Casualty Insurtech firm based in India, recently came together to create a short film that reflects how they experience work inside a modern engineering centre, where curiosity, creativity, and a sense of belonging sit comfortably alongside advanced technology.
What started as a team idea quickly turned into a collaborative project led by engineers, designers, storytellers, and creatives from within Guidewire. The film examines how AI is becoming an integral part of everyday work, not as a replacement for people, but as a tool that enhances imagination and problem-solving. Live-action moments are combined with AI-assisted visuals, with human intent and judgment guiding every stage of the process.
Reflecting on the initiative, Mohammed Anzy S, Managing Director & Vice President of Engineering, Guidewire India, said,
“AI becomes truly meaningful when guided by human imagination, empathy, and judgment. This project grew from the curiosity of our own teams and reflects who we are beyond the code, an engineering culture built on trust, care, and the freedom to explore ideas.”
Shot inside Guidewire’s Bengaluru new office and featuring team members themselves, the film offers a light-hearted, symbolic look at everyday moments, collaboration, experimentation, problem-solving, and play. It captures what it feels like to work in an environment where people are encouraged to show up as themselves and learn from one another.
More than a formal brand exercise, the film is a shared expression of how Guidewire India teams think about technology and creativity. It reflects a belief in thoughtful technology adoption and collaboration across disciplines, and in building not just better software, but workplaces where people enjoy the process as much as the outcome.
