Bishamkatak, Dec, 04: : A three-day district-level education and training camp organized by the Youth Red Cross has been conducted at the local Ma’ Markam Higher Secondary School in Rayagada district’s Bishamkatak block. The program was inaugurated under the guidance of Uma Shankar Nimalpuri, Principal of Ma’ Markam Higher Secondary School.

Seventeen trainers from various parts of the district, along with many volunteers, participated in this program.

The event focused on health, volunteer service, and Indian Red Cross activities. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Saraswati Ray, Principal of Rayagada Autonomous College and President of the Youth Red Cross District Committee. The program also hosted B. Govind Rao, former District Red Cross Coordinator from Ganjam, as an honored guest.

Dr. Ashwini Kumar Panda, another chief guest, along with other dignitaries, contributed to various program activities. Two Red Cross trainers, Dayanidhi Bangari and District Red Cross Coordinator Prashant Panda, assisted in organizing the event. Stage management and vote-of-thanks were handled by Kedar Sahukar and Sanjay Tripathy, two Youth Red Cross trainers.

Teachers, staff, and administrators from Ma’ Markam Higher Secondary School and three associated colleges actively supported the smooth conduct of the program.
