Banpur: For his remarkable contribution to the field of yoga education, Yoga Acharya Prasanna Kumar Mishra has been conferred with a Doctorate Degree. The honour was presented at the Alternative Self-Employment and Honour Ceremony organized by the World Health and Wellness Foundation (WAWF) at Hotel Hyatt in Janakpuri, New Delhi.
The event witnessed the presence of renowned yoga practitioners, naturopaths, and social workers from across the country. Many individuals were felicitated with “Pratibha Samman” awards for their outstanding social contributions.
On this occasion, Prasanna Kumar Mishra from Banpur in Khordha district was recognized for his dedicated efforts in promoting better health through yoga and naturopathy. Through his yoga education centre, Gurukrupa Yogashala, he has been instrumental in training over 300 students, enabling them to become yoga instructors and pursue self-employment.
As a dedicated yoga warrior, Mishra was invited to the ceremony and honoured with the Doctorate Degree in recognition of his efforts to foster a healthier, violence-free, and stress-free society through the ancient science of yoga.
In conclusion, Dr. Pradeep Mishra, the chairperson of the organizing foundation, stated that such events help inspire society in areas of health, education, dignity, and self-reliance.
