Anugol, Feb, 14: World Youth Day was celebrated at Papasara Upper Primary School under Handapa Gram Panchayat in Handapa police station area of Anugol district.
On the occasion, light was shed on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Students who achieved distinction in the Class V scholarship examination and Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship were honored for their accomplishments.
Handapa Sarpanch Mrs. Rashmita Pradhan attended the program as the Chief Guest, while youth social worker Biswaranjan Pradhan joined as the Guest of Honour. Prizes were distributed to the meritorious students during the event.
All teachers and students of the school were present. The program was presided over by the Headmistress, Mrs. Rushyini Pallei.
