Bhaygada, Dec, 26:   The second World Meditation Day, carrying the message “Collective change through personal transformation,” was celebrated at the campus of Rayagada Self-Governed College. Dr. Saraswati Ray, the presiding officer, and the chief guest, Ranjan Sahu, Principal of Maharshi Vidyamandir, inaugurated the program. The guests explained the benefits of meditation and advised everyone to incorporate meditation into their daily practice.

Dr. Saraswati Ray, Art of Living trainer and presiding officer, guided participants through various yoga postures and conducted Panchakosha meditation as instructed by the guru. Professor M. Srinivas Achari managed the program.

The event was attended by Lieutenant Uday Nayak, Subrat Pradhan, Bhavesh Mahanti, Priyadarshinib Bal, P. Arun Kumar, Ajay Rait, Monalisa Panigrahi, P. Shankar, Hemant Swain, Anita Manoj Pattnayak, and Manmath Toika. A large number of students, teachers, and faculty members also participated in the program.
