World Malaria Day: Awareness Program Held at Sarabuguda Village in Kailaspur Panchayat

Kaulanara:  On the occasion of World Malaria Day, an awareness program was organized at Sarabuguda village under Kailaspur Panchayat of Kaulanara Block by employees providing 108 ambulance services in Rayagada district.
Since malaria is caused by the bite of the female Anopheles mosquito, villagers were made aware of the importance of sleeping under mosquito nets. They were also advised to maintain cleanliness around their homes and to ensure that stagnant water is not allowed to accumulate anywhere.

Additionally, the villagers were informed that if symptoms like chills, fever with shivering, headaches, or vomiting appear, they should immediately seek medical advice and get treated.

This program was conducted under the leadership of Subhranshu Senapati, Executive Director of Rayagada Janani Express and 108 Ambulance Services.

All ambulance employees, ASHA worker Kuni Dora, and the local villagers were present during the event.
