Work Resumes on Culvert Construction After Delay

Nabarangpur: Keeping their promise, Nabarangpur Municipality Chairman Kunu Nayak and Engineer Deepak Kumar Behera have restarted the construction work of the culvert on the main road of the daily market from Saturday.

For a long time, the condition of the main road leading to the daily market had deteriorated significantly. Recognizing this issue, the municipal authorities had started construction work on the main road and culvert a few days ago. However, after a few days of work, the construction was halted again.

Since this road serves as a crucial connection to the city’s main market and functions as a sort of bypass road used frequently by residents, its closure for culvert construction caused significant inconvenience.

Municipality Chairman Kunu Nayak assured that the work would be restarted and completed as soon as possible. As promised, construction resumed on Saturday, bringing relief and happiness to the local residents.

It is important to note that the culvert is being built on one of the city’s most vital roads, which not only connects to the main market but also acts as a bypass for the town. Due to the construction, the road had to be dug up, leading to a prolonged halt in work. The delay caused significant difficulties for commuters. However, with the work resuming, the long-pending culvert construction is finally back on track.
