Nabarangpur, 25th Aug 2025: A “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” (Drug-Free India Programme) was organized at Nabarangpur Women’s Degree College.
The event was presided over by the college Principal, Mrs. Makshaleswari Sahu, who explained to the students how the nation can move towards becoming free from addiction. On this occasion, essay and debate competitions were held among the students.
At the beginning of the programme, all teachers, students, and staff members took a pledge to prevent addiction and work towards a healthier society.
The entire programme was coordinated by Mrs. Taranum Ara, Lecturer in Education, who also made the students aware of the harmful effects of substance abuse.
