Konark  – A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Patasundarpur village in the Kakudpur block, in conjunction with the 8th annual festival of Baba Sundareswar Mahadev. The camp was conducted by Jyotibrama Advanti Club, Odisha V.L.I. Union Puri District, and Ama Odisha in collaboration. The event aimed to address the issue of blood shortages and prevent deaths due to lack of blood, with the young people of the village coming together to organize the camp.

At the camp, many young men, women, and girls voluntarily donated blood to save lives. A total of 52 units of blood were collected. The Cuttack Medical Team was present, collecting blood from 10 AM to 3 PM. Donors expressed happiness after donating and encouraged others to donate blood.

The organizers of the event, including Jyotibrama Advanti Club’s advisors, president Arun Kumar Jena, Santosh Mahanti, Pradeep Swaim, Shushant Mahanti, Adarsh Mahanti, Rakesh Nayak, as well as Odisha V.L.I. Union’s president Sangram Kesari Samantaray, editor Manoranjan Dash, district president Dashrath Mahanti, editor Sudarshan Raul, block coordinator Bani Prasad Behera, Prakash Swaim, and journalist Akshay Raut from Ama Odisha, led the management of this successful event.
