‘Voice for Voiceless’ Observes National Duty Day with Patriotic Fervour

Cuttack, 20th Oct 2025:  On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the leading voluntary organization Voice for Voiceless organized a program at Town Hall, Cuttack to observe National Duty Day.

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Deepak Kumar Dash, who explained that the purpose of the day is to uphold the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and to fulfill one’s duties to the nation through truth and non-violence.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Biswajit Suryawanshi.
Justice Ratikanta Mohapatra attended as the chief speaker, while Prof. Dr. Narayan Mohanty was the chief guest.
Dr. Dweepayan Pattnayak joined as a distinguished guest, and Dr. Bishwomohan Jena attended as an honored guest.
All of them shed light on Gandhian philosophy during their addresses.

During the program, the 2024 annual report of Voice for Voiceless was also unveiled.

Santosh Kumar Pal introduced the guests, while Dr. Omkar Raut delivered the vote of thanks.

In the second session, poets and poetesses recited their self-composed poems. The poetry session was conducted by Maitree Bhushan Khuntia, Dr. Aditya Pratap Dhal, and Ashwini Sethi.

Notable participants included:
Rajeev Sadangi, Meera Beura, Rakesh Shatapathy, Abhinash Nayak, Rajendra Barik, Abhinash Dash, Pritish Nayak, Debesh Ranjan Chaini, Jeeten Dash, and Bibhudatta Khandayatray.
