Bhubaneswar, Jan, 06: As part of the Jagannath cultural promotion and outreach program, participants visited Niali Madhav Temple, Jayadev Peeth, and the Shaiva Peeth Maa Barahi Temple.

The organizing committee regularly conducts such temple visits—monthly or bi-monthly—to connect temples associated with Jagannath of Puri and to promote knowledge about the divine plays and glory of Lord Jagannath worldwide.
The first stop from Niali Madhav Temple to Puri Temple follows the Pratham Ashtami route. Niali Madhav Temple is considered the maternal house of Lord Jagannath, symbolizing the cultural heritage of Odia households.

In an effort to document and share Jagannath culture throughout the year, a digital film series capturing 365 days of temple rituals and festivals will be released on a YouTube channel. Each film will show the exact date, nakshatra, rituals, and processions of the Lord, providing complete information for global viewers.

On this temple visit, the organization Jagannath Cultural Promotion Institution also released the magazine “Bhakta o Bhagwan”. The launch was carried out by notable members: Sriprasant Kumar Mishra, Rabinarayan Mahapatra, Dr. Narayan Mahapatra, Suresh Mishra, Trilochan Nayak, Bansidhar Nayak, Ajay Das, and other attendees.
During the visit at Niali Madhav Temple, devotional songs including the “Jagannath Sahasranama” were sung. At Jayadev Peeth, songs from Sri Kamal (Geet Govind) were performed.

Key participants and supporters of the visit included Sarat Mahapatra, Vijay Panda, Praful Das, Aksham, Srinivas Rao, Vijay Dakua, Prachitosh, Priyatosh, among others, who actively assisted in the program.
