Dabugaon/Tentulikhunti, In all the Panchayat offices under the Dabugaon block of Nabarangpur district, the Gram Sabha for the “Developed Village, Developed Odisha” program was held on Friday. The Gram Sabha was conducted under the leadership of the Sarpanch of the respective Panchayats such as Anjala, Medana, Chacharaguda, Koilari, Junapani, Borigan, Ghoda Khunta, Nandapura, Jabaguda, Badaolma, Dabugaon, and Dangariguda. During this meeting, a list of upcoming projects for the next 5 years was presented according to the needs of the various villages under the block.
The meeting was attended by the Block Mangala Expansion Officer Aditya Narayan Rath, Junior Engineer Prashant Kumar Chaudhury, Dilip Deepak Mishra, Abhilash Nayak, Panchayat Executive Officer A.D. Prasad, Parshuram Mali, Arjun Bhatrak, Haldhar Jani, Divyashankar Pujari, Rupali Mandal, and Kamini Harijan, as well as Pesha Samyogak Subhashree Mahakud, and all committee members, ward members, and villagers.
Independent Gram Sabha under Developed Village, Developed Odisha Program
On Friday, a separate Gram Sabha was conducted under the leadership of Sarpanch Anadi Majhi at the Pujari Guda Panchayat Office in Tentulikhunti block. The meeting approved a list of projects under the “Developed Village, Developed Odisha” plan for the period from 2024-25 to 2029-30, which will focus on various development activities for the next 5 years. The Gram Sabha included the participation of all ward members from the Pujari Guda Panchayat.
The project list for each ward was discussed to address the specific needs of the respective villages for the next five years. BPC Uma Maheswari, a supervisor, joined the program as well. The Pesha Coordinator Banani Das, PEO Swagatika Sahu, and ACDO Ananta Pujari assisted in the event. Former Sarpanch Kumar Pujari, Ward Member Dambaru Karkara, Bhisma Majhi, and other ward members, Anganwadi workers, and the general public were present during the meeting.
