Kotpad: Under the initiative of the Kotpad Notified Area Council (NAC), a Vikas Rath (Development Vehicle) campaign began on 14th June, moving through all wards—from Ward No. 1 to Ward No. 13—and covering key junctions and localities.
The campaign was led by Kotpad NAC Executive Officer Kamalesh Mahanti, Chairperson M. Shankar Rao, Treasurer Prashanu Kachim, Head Clerk Gopi Majhi, along with K. Ramesh, Rajesh Chetti, and others. The event witnessed active participation from Swachh Sathis, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, SHG (Self-Help Group) women members, and all staff of Kotpad NAC.
Organized on the occasion of the completion of one year of the current government, the Vikas Rath highlighted various developmental works and flagship government schemes. The campaign involved door-to-door visits across all wards of the notified area, aiming to create awareness among beneficiaries about the different welfare schemes introduced by the BJP-led government.
During these visits, interactions were held with beneficiaries, and informational booklets on government schemes were distributed to help locals better understand and benefit from the programs.
In today’s event, Gopi Majhi, Rajesh Chetti, K. Ramesh, and several Swachh Sathis were present and extended their full support, contributing to the success of the program.
