Nabarangpur, Dec, 29:  The Veer Bal Diwas was celebrated at the District Social Welfare Department, Ashok Mehta Auditorium, in the presence of officials of the District Collectorate.

During the event, Draupadi Kahar, District Social Welfare Officer, welcomed everyone and highlighted the significance of Veer Bal Diwas. The main guest for the program was District Collector (General) Tapan Kumar Khunti. He addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of remembering the sacrifices, bravery, and patriotism of young martyrs. He also encouraged the younger generation to cultivate a sense of love for the country.

Additional dignitaries present included:

  • Manoj Behera, District Welfare Officer
  • Dillip Pattnayak, District Physical Education Officer
  • Suresh Pattnayak, District Child Protection Officer

During his speech, Suresh Pattnayak spoke about the sacrifices of Baba Jorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the young sons of Guru Gobind Singh, and highlighted the courage, patriotism, and dedication of young martyrs of the nation. He encouraged the youth to draw inspiration from their lives.

The program also emphasized teaching patriotism, self-respect, and honesty to children from an early age.

At 12:30 PM, a live broadcast of the Veer Bal Diwas event organized at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was watched by everyone present.
