Malkangiri : Under the guidance of the Odisha Government’s Department of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change, and with the support of the Motu Forest Division, the 76th Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated at Dr. Shyama Prasad Higher Secondary School, located in MB 79.
The event was held under the chairmanship of the school’s principal, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mishra. The chief guest was Rashmi Ranjan Swain, Ranger of the Motu Forest Range. Other officials present included Forest Guard Sameer Kumar Jena, Forester Manoj Kumar Bishoyi, Forest Guards Tapan Kumar Sahu and Debashis Nayak.

As part of the celebration, medicinal and valuable tree saplings were planted on the school campus, promoting environmental awareness and greenery.
