New Delhi, 24th October , 2025: In a first for the national capital, the Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple in Mayur Vihar Phase I, New Delhi, will host a grand 27-day “Crore Archana” ritual dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The sacred event will begin on October 2025 and continue until November 1, 2025, culminating with the spectacular “Laksha Deeparchana” on November 2, 2025.

Organized under the guidance of Chief Thanthri Brahmasri Pulliyannoor Anujan Narayanan Namboodiripad and managed by the Arsha Dharma Parishad, the Crore Archana is a spiritually significant ritual where priests will collectively chant the Vishnu Sahasranama the thousand sacred names of Lord Vishnu continuously over 27 days, symbolically invoking the deity’s name one crore (10 million) times.
Each day’s ceremony will include Poornna Silver Kalasam rituals, Vedic hymns, and devotional offerings representing prosperity, peace, and spiritual awakening. The temple will resonate with continuous chanting and devotional music, creating an atmosphere of deep divine energy. The final day, Laksha Deeparchana, will witness thousands of traditional oil lamps lit together, illuminating the temple premises in a grand spiritual spectacle.
Before the commencement of the main ritual, purification ceremonies such as Praasada Sudhi and Bimba Sudhi will be performed to sanctify the temple and invoke divine blessings. Devotees will also have the opportunity to participate in Special Udayasthamana Poojas during this sacred period.
Speaking about the event, the temple authorities said that Crore Archana is not just a religious ritual, but a spiritual movement aimed at spreading harmony, peace, and positivity. It unites devotees through collective prayer and devotion.
The Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple, built in the traditional Kerala architectural style, has been a major spiritual hub for devotees in Delhi and the NCR region. The upcoming Crore Archana marks a historic moment for the temple and the community.
The ritual will be conducted daily in two sessions:
Morning: 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Evening: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
