Koshagumuda— After the daily newspaper Sakal published news about the non-functioning of waste segregation houses in 26 panchayats of Koshagumuda block and related issues, the BDIO expressed concern. Accordingly, Ashish Tripathy, BDIO of Koshagumuda, sent a letter numbered 1298/25 on the 10th to the PEOs and Sarpanches of all the 26 panchayats.
According to information, in 956 panchayats of the block, waste segregation houses are not operational, and complaints of damaged roofs and scattered waste have been reported. This news was published on the 9th. In response, local residents and intellectuals have expressed gratitude and appreciation to Sakal for highlighting the issue.
