Nabarangpur: In the Nabarangpur District Lawyers’ Association elections, eight candidates withdrew their nominations on the withdrawal day. As a result, the final list of unopposed candidates has been published.
Earlier, on the 9th, the nomination verification process was conducted, and all nominations were found valid. However, on the 12th, during the withdrawal process, candidates for positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and three Executive Members withdrew their nominations.
Following the withdrawal, Election Officer and Senior Advocate C.H. Baba Yugandhar officially announced the final list of unopposed candidates on Thursday. According to this list:
Sirajuddin Ahmad – President
Sadashiv Sahu – Vice President
Tapan Kumar Singh – Secretary
Sheikh Baba Alisha – Treasurer
Gajendra Dash – Executive Member
Once the new committee assumes office, elections will be held for the vacant Joint Secretary and three Executive Member positions, as stated by the Election Officer.
The election process is being conducted under the leadership of Senior Advocate C.H. Baba Yugandhar, along with Assistant Election Officers Advocate Kishore Kumar Pattnayak and Advocate Taj Imran Sharif.
