Bhubaneswar, 20th Aug 2025: In the Capital Region, a 111 km long, 6-lane access-controlled Capital Region Ring Road, stretching from Rameswar near Khordha to Tangi in Cuttack district, with a total cost of Rs 8,307 crore, has received approval from the Union Cabinet. Since becoming a Member of Parliament from Bhubaneswar, I had been consistently working towards this from the very beginning of my tenure. I had continuously requested Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari regarding this project. I also personally met them and extensively explained the necessity of this bypass.
