Nabarangpur, 22nd Oct 2025: At the initiative of CRCC (Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator) Babulaal Sagar of Semala Cluster under Papadahandi block of Nabarangpur district, a monthly review meeting was conducted at the Government Primary School, Chandra Guda.
In the meeting, Babulaal Sagar welcomed the attendees and outlined the agenda. It was discussed that in the previous month, teachers had taken charge as acting headmasters at the school level, and relevant written records had been maintained accordingly, as per the directives of the Department of Mass Education.
As per the departmental guidelines, a review of textbooks was organized during the monthly meeting. During the previous month, the academic calendar, activities for pre-primary children, and class management practices for Classes I, II, and III were reviewed. Multi-grade teaching models, teacher-prepared lesson plans and their presentation were also discussed. CRCC Babulaal Sagar emphasized the creation of an academic environment conducive to educational discussion and showed interest in ensuring smooth conduct of Teachers’ Day activities with proper planning.
After the midday meal break, a school visit was conducted. During the visit, discussions were held on good teaching practices. CRCC created an opportunity for group discussions among teachers on educational techniques in line with the current academic program suggested by the Department of Mass Education. These included:

Teachers actively participated in discussions and expressed their commitment to implementing these in schools going forward. They emphasized shaping students into good human beings and expressed their willingness to dedicate themselves to professional growth as educators.
Headmaster Daitari Pujari, Mohan Nayak, Kumari Kanjali, Parameswar Sahu, Manoj Sahu, Gokul, and other teachers actively participated in the meeting. They collectively expressed that with teachers’ efforts, all challenges can be overcome, and they energized the monthly meeting with this spirit.
In his motivational message, CRCC Babulaal stated that through responsibility, duty, and rights, and by creating a positive environment, teachers can become central to transforming schools. He stressed that the SOPAN Register can be a helpful tool in tracking language and numeracy development effectively and called for new ideas and innovations in the teaching-learning process.
He underlined that the “Reading Campaign Odisha,” which is a dream project of the Chief Minister, aims to ensure that every child can read a book. Therefore, it was discussed that reading progress for every class should be documented and displayed.
