Umarkote, 23rd Sept 2025: A marathon run event was organized in Umarkote by the BJP, in which all members of the BJP Nagar Mandal, along with youth, young women, and students from various organizations, actively participated.
The run began at 7:00 AM from the local Pendra Pasrani Temple and proceeded through the main streets of the town, concluding at Gopabandhu Square.
It is noteworthy that this event was part of the BJP’s “Seva Pakhwada” (Service Fortnight), which is being observed from September 17th (Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday) to October 2nd (Gandhi Jayanti). As part of this initiative, various programs are being organized including cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, health camps, and this public marathon event held under the title “Modi Vikas Marathon Run.”
The event was conducted smoothly and safely with the assistance of city mandal officials, committee members, police, and medical teams.
