Umarkot,Jan, 07: Bandana Mallik from Navarangpur district has brought pride to the region by successfully completing her PhD in Development of Quantum Integrated Systems for Optical Communication from GIIT University, Gunupur.

During her research, she was guided by Dr. Priya Darshal Parida, Associate of the ECIL Department of GIIT University. She also received assistance from Professor Dr. Gopinath Palai of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sri Sri University, Cuttack. Additionally, Dr. G. Abasi Raja, Associate Professor of the Electronics and Communication Department at NIT Tamil Nadu, contributed to her doctoral work.

For her achievement, Bandana Mallik was praised by Dr. Chandradhwaj Panda, Vice President of GIIT University, administrative head ENV Jagannath Rao, CEO Dr. P. Vijay Kumar, and social worker Chakta Bilu Prasad, along with her family — father Prasad Mallik, late mother, and aunt Tika Karun Bhoni.
