Nabarangpur – 28th Oct 2025: Under the Odisha Cricket Association, the Inter-District 50-Over Cricket League for players under 16 will be held in Cuttack from 24th October. For this tournament, the Nabarangpur district team has been selected.
The District Cricket Association Secretary, Prahallad Tripathy, announced a 15-member squad. Devendra Kumar Raut has been selected as the captain, while other selected players include Sahil Harijan, Sahil Kujur, S.K. Mohammad, Raghubir Pattnayak, Bapan Hira, Swadhin Pattnayak, Ashutosh Gantayat, Sandesh Kumar Singh, Anshuman Pattnayak, Chandan Gand, Vinit Sharma, Siddhi Swaroop Patra, and Siddharth Pattnayak.
Subrat Gand will serve as the coach, and Shashank Shekhar Behera will take responsibility as the team manager, according to the association’s editor Manoj Kumar Pattnayak.
The District Sports Association Secretary, M. Balakrishna Rao, along with Cricket Editor Ashok Nayak and other association members, extended their best wishes for the team’s success.
The Nabarangpur district team will play league matches from 24th to 28th October in Sambalpur, K.I.T. University, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, and Puri. Former senior sports personalities of the district have also conveyed their best wishes for the team’s success.
