Rasulpur, 11th Nov 2025: Two students from Badakaichha Panchayat High School, under Rasulpur Block, — Sonali Raut and Ayushi Dwivedi — have been selected to participate in the state-level ‘Surabhi’ competition.
Sonali, a Class 10 student, secured first place in the essay competition, while Ayushi won first place in the music competition at the district-level event, thereby qualifying for participation in the state-level round.
The school headmistress Subashi Sahu, along with other teachers and classmates, congratulated both students and wished them success in the upcoming state-level competition.
Through the Surabhi program, organized by the School and Mass Education Department, students are encouraged to develop their multifaceted talents by participating in competitions in music, recitation, debate, elocution, drawing, mono-acting, essay writing, and more.
Winners at each stage of the competition are nominated to the next level. Both students had previously won first place at the zonal and block levels before being selected for the district-level competition, which was held last Friday at PM Shri Ram-Lakshman Government High School in Dasharathpur Block.
According to the Block Education Department, the state-level Surabhi competition will commence from the 12th of this month.
