Rayagada ,10th Nov 2025:– Muniguda’s prominent educational institution, the Donbast School, has made the region proud through the achievements of two of its students. Siddharth Kumar Paricha and Stephen Bastaray, who studied at the school, became under-14 Olympic Kabaddi champions in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, bringing glory to Odisha.
The local community is proud of the two students. In recognition of this achievement, the school honored them with a grand felicitation. Representing Odisha in the CISCE National Kabaddi Competition, they competed against participants from five other states and secured victory.
Their success has not only brought pride to the students and the region but also elevated the school’s reputation at a higher level. Information confirms that the two students participated in the under-14 category of the CISCE National Kabaddi Competition in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, and emerged champions for Odisha.
By winning the finals and securing gold medals, they added to the school’s honor. On this occasion, a felicitation ceremony was organized at the school under the leadership of Principal Father Naresh Paurahitya and teacher Sabita Nayak, where the two students were awarded certificates and recognition for their achievement.
The ceremony was attended by their parents – Ganesh Padu, Paresh Paricha, Sushma Bastaray – along with editors, teachers including Rajesh R. Pani, Anup Gaid, Manol Senapati, Arjana Maharana, Sabita Nayak, G. Gauri, Dipti Mayee Dash, and other school staff, who encouraged the students for their national-level achievement and for bringing pride to the school.
The students were also wished success for their upcoming participation in the SGFI (School Games Federation of India) competitions. Looking ahead, they hope to perform well in the upcoming SGFI National Board competitions in Chhattisgarh, bringing further recognition to their school, state, and country, as expressed by Siddharth Kumar Paricha and Stephen Bastaray.
