Nabarangpur: The election process for the Nabarangpur District Bar Association has commenced at the District Judge Court premises. The nomination filing period is scheduled from the 5th to the 7th of this month.
On the first day, nominations were filed for two key positions:
Senior Advocate Shyam Prasad Gantayat filed his nomination for the post of President.
Advocate Ram Prasad Patra submitted his nomination for the post of Secretary.
Both candidates filed their nominations in the presence of their respective proposers and seconders.
The election process is being supervised by Chief Election Officer Senior Advocate C.H. Baba Yugandhar, along with Assistant Election Officers Advocate Kishore Kumar Pattnaik and Advocate Taj Imran Sharif.
The final list of candidates will be published on the 8th of this month, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on the 9th, as per the statement given by Chief Election Officer C.H. Baba Yugandhar.
