Bhubaneswar Two low-pressure systems are forming, which are expected to bring rainfall to most parts of the state. A weather alert was issued on Saturday by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar. Heavy rainfall is expected on June 30 and July 1, for which a special warning has been issued.
The twin systems are likely to develop over both eastern and western regions. A complete cyclonic circulation is expected to form by June 29, due to which consistent rainfall is likely to continue till July 4. Heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is predicted in certain vulnerable districts. The southern and east-northeastern zones are expected to experience intense rainfall activity due to prevailing atmospheric conditions.
