Nabarangpur,Jan, 08: The triennial conference of the Nabarangpur district unit of the Odisha Revenue Employees’ Association was held with great enthusiasm under the chairmanship of former president Ashutosh Mahanti.
The programme was attended by Prasanna Kumar Nayak, State Executive President, as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included Nityananda Bhatra, Koraput District Secretary; Manoj Barik, senior member from Koraput district; and S. Jagadish, State Vice-President.
On this occasion, all revenue employees of the district were present. The members expressed their views on collectively strengthening the organization by showing loyalty to the association and discussed ways to achieve their legitimate demands in the coming days.
In this context, new office-bearers were elected for the next three years. In the election, Kailash Chandra Das was elected as President, Vivek Nayak (Senior Revenue Assistant) as Chairman, Sourav Kumar Das and Amit Kumar as Vice-Presidents, Debashish Suar as Secretary, Maithili Pattnaik and Kailash Pujari as Joint Secretaries, and Sahid Akhtar as Treasurer, among others.
The newly elected members were administered the oath of office by State President Tripati Balaji Sahu. The election process was overseen by Pramod Kumar Charbi as Election Observer and Sangram Keshari Pradhan as Election Officer, who successfully discharged their responsibilities.
