Tricolor Bicycle Rally Commemorates Martyr Laxman Nayak’s Birthplace

Malkangiri : On April 22, in response to the gruesome terrorist attack in Jammu’s Pahalgam, India launched Operation Sindur against terrorists on the directive of the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The operation began on May 7. Thanks to the unprecedented bravery of the Indian Army, terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were destroyed, and many terrorists were killed. The operation kept the enemy occupied, and just three days later, on May 10, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire.

Today, the country’s citizens take pride in the courage and valor of the Indian Army. Honoring the patriotism and bravery of the army defending India’s sovereignty and security, a Tricolor Bicycle Rally was organized from the birthplace of Martyr Laxman Nayak in Abhivakta Koraput district. The rally proceeded to Kiang covering a distance of about 15 kilometers in a grand procession.

The bicycle rally was organized by the Minakshi Power Project. The second BSF Battalion Company Commandant Inspector Sanjay Yadav inaugurated the rally by hoisting the flag. The air resonated with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.” Along with local BSF jawans, employees of the Minakshi Power Project and a large number of local people participated enthusiastically in this rally.

The rally started at 7 AM from the birthplace of Martyr Laxman Nayak at Tentuli Gumma and reached Kiang Shree Temple after covering a distance of about 15 kilometers. The event was marked by extraordinary enthusiasm, inspiration, and a spirit of victory, showcasing the patriotism of the people.
