Tributes Paid to Martyr Laxman Nayak as People Remember His Sacrifice and Contribution to Freedom Movement

Kotpad, April 06: Various organizations in Kotpad observed the martyrdom day of freedom fighter Laxman Nayak as Martyrs’ Day.
At a program held in Siddhartha School, members of the institution—including Secretary Pankaj Kumar Patra, Vice-President Pradeep Bakshi, President Basanta Behera, and teachers Santoshi Patra, Bharati Mishra, Amita Jena, Mili Patnaik, and Bijay Mishra—paid floral tributes to the statue of Laxman Nayak.
Similarly, at the statue located at Laxman Nayak Square, Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, SSC Chairman Shankar Rao, Pankaj Kumar Patra, MP’s representative Pradeep Rath, and MLA’s representative Suren Mohanty, along with BJP members, offered garlands in his honor.
Tributes were also paid at various educational institutions and at the Gopabandhu Library, where President Ganesh Panda and other members expressed their respect.
