Bhubaneswar The transfer process for state government employees will now be conducted with complete transparency. In this regard, the General Administration Department has issued letters to all departmental secretaries instructing them to follow Book Circular 42 and the official government guidelines.

Every year, government employee transfers are carried out by June 15. The government is aiming to ensure that the process is completely impartial and transparent.

Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, Surendra Kumar, has written a letter directing departments to initiate an online system for managing transfers starting from April. Emphasis is being placed on the importance of transparent transfers. Departments like the School and Mass Education Department and the Health Department have already formulated their own transfer policies.

Instructions have been issued to all departments to formulate clean and transparent transfer policies. Keeping the employees’ convenience in mind, departments have been directed to ensure that the transfer process is simple and transparent, using an online system. Through this system, employees will be able to apply online, and the departments can verify and scrutinize the applications properly. The General Administration Department has advised that transfer lists should be prepared in a completely impartial manner after proper verification of the applications.
