Koraput: Due to ongoing doubling work on the railway line between Koraput and Sukuma, the railway authorities have decided to suspend train operations to Koraput station until June 19.
As a result, all trains scheduled to halt at Koraput station will now stop at Manabar station instead. Additionally, the Visakhapatnam DMU train originating from Damanjodi will also not proceed to Koraput.
Instead, these trains will bypass Koraput station via Dumuriput and the Koraput A Cabin, proceeding directly to Manabar station. From there, they will continue their journey towards Jagdalpur via Manabar.
Passengers are requested to avail train services from Manabar station during this period, as informed by the railway authorities.
Trains coming from Rayagada towards Jagdalpur will also follow the same diverted route via Dumuriput and Koraput A Cabin, bypassing Koraput station. Therefore, passengers intending to board or alight at Koraput must do so at Manabar station, according to the railway officials.
