Koshagumuda: A head-on collision between two motorcycles occurred near Madeigaon in Koshagumuda block on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of a teacher. The deceased has been identified as Labhman Majhi, a teacher at Nayakguda School.
He was reportedly traveling towards Karchamal on his bike to get some important documents Xeroxed when another bike coming from the opposite direction collided with him. The impact was so severe that the teacher died on the spot. The other bike rider, who was critically injured, was taken to Nabarangpur District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
In the evening, the deceased teacher’s relative filed a written complaint at Kodigaon police station. Based on the complaint, Inspector Jugal Sabar assigned ASI Sukodev Chhatria to investigate the case. A case (24/25) has been registered in this regard. The police official also informed that after the post-mortem on Tuesday, the body would be handed over to the family.
