Cuttack, 8th Nov 2025: For the historic Cuttack Bali Jatra, the Cuttack Police have announced traffic restrictions on certain city roads from November 5 to November 12. These restrictions will be in effect from 2 PM until the dispersal of the crowd at night. However, ambulances, fire service vehicles, police vehicles, and other essential service vehicles will be exempted from these restrictions.
Vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar via Nandankanan, Barang, and Trishulia will take Netaji Setu (bridge) and turn left from Bellview Square (Judicial Academy), proceed through CDA Sector-11, and reach the Biju Patnaik Park.
Visitors can park their vehicles at Bhuasuni Ground or Krushi Bazar Ground and use the free bus service to reach the Bali Jatra fairground.
Light vehicles coming from the Athagarh and Banki sides via Naraj Bridge and Madhusudan Bridge can park their vehicles at Bhuasuni Ground, Gorakabar Ground, or Christian Ground and travel to the fairground using free shuttle buses.
Similarly, two-wheelers coming from Sati Choura Square through Shelter Square and Kanika Square toward the Bali Jatra ground can park at the Dayashram Parking Ground or the Upper Bali Jatra Ground (Zone-1 and Zone-2 near Gadakhai front).
Free Bus Service
Free bus service will be available from Bhuasuni Parking to Cantonment Police Station.
