Bhubaneswar, 3rd Oct 2025: Due to Durga Puja celebrations, traffic restrictions have been implemented in the capital city, Bhubaneswar, starting today.
The Commissionerate Police has issued an official traffic advisory for the occasion.
These restrictions will be enforced daily from 2 PM to 2 AM.
Key Traffic Restrictions:
Heavy vehicles are prohibited on major roads of Bhubaneswar.
Restricted Routes:
Rasulgarh to Samantrapur – No entry for heavy vehicles.
Vani Vihar to Rajmahal Square – Entry banned.
Acharya Vihar to Kalinga Hospital and Sainik School – Restrictions in place.
Jayadev Vihar Square to Nandankanan, Raj Bhavan, and Patia – Heavy vehicles banned.
CRP Square to Power House and Khandagiri to Pokhariput – No entry for heavy vehicles.
These measures are intended to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety during the Durga Puja festivities.
