Traditional Karate Academy Achieves Remarkable Success

Chatia, 1st Sept 2025: The 19th State Satolan Karate Championship was held over two days on the 23rd and 24th at the Biju Patnaik Indoor Sports Complex in Balasore. Participants from the Traditional Karate Academy located in Chatia (Jajpur) and Tangi (Cuttack) achieved remarkable success in the event.

From the academy, 1 participant represented Cuttack, and 17 participants represented Jajpur. Together, they won a total of 33 medals — 12 gold, 13 silver, and 8 bronze.

Notable medal winners include:

  • Snehashree Das: 2 gold medals
  • Manisha Das: 1 gold, 1 bronze
  • Abhipsa Raut: 2 gold, 1 silver
  • Ayushmati Jena: 2 gold
  • Sheikh Ibrahim: 1 gold, 1 silver
  • Priyadarshini Sahu: 1 silver, 2 bronze
  • Rajesh Sahu: 1 gold, 1 silver
  • Tapan Behera: 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze
  • Rudranarayan Das: 3 silver
  • Divyantu Behera: 1 gold, 1 bronze
  • Gautam Gochhayat: 1 gold
  • Ayush Sahu: 1 bronze
  • Sriradha Das: 2 silver
  • Abhinav Shadangi: 1 bronze
  • Ruturaj Mahanti: 1 bronze
  • Aditya Nayak: 1 silver

The refereeing and judging responsibilities were carried out by Sensei Sunak Numar Deo, Sensei Sai Satyaranjan Pattnaik, and Sensei Gopal Nayak.

This achievement has brought a wave of joy across the entire district.
