Bhubaneswar, 19th Aug 2025: TPIODL, through its CSR initiative ‘Samriddhi’, is promoting eco-friendly rakhis made using Pattachitra and Dokra techniques. These handcrafted rakhis are prepared by artisans from Khodhar Balijanta Art Cluster and the heritage villages of Dhenkanal, and are being exhibited at various locations in Bhubaneswar. An independent stall was also set up at IDCO Tower for the display.
Through TPIODL’s training, skill development, and market linkage programs, 300 women artisans have been trained and empowered to become self-reliant. These rakhis are available for sale through exhibitions, local retail centers, and online platforms managed by the company.
