Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, is prioritizing the development of electrical infrastructure. The company is taking significant steps to ensure improved and reliable electricity supply for the people through enhanced infrastructure.

As part of this initiative, a 5 MVA transformer at the Hindol Road Primary Substation has been successfully replaced with a new 8 MVA capacity transformer. This upgrade will ensure better voltage levels and reliable power supply for around 8,000 consumers in the local area.

This improvement plays a crucial role in addressing the increased electricity demand during the ongoing summer season, helping to prevent overloading and ensuring consistent service to consumers.

Moreover, TPCODL is taking extensive measures to utilize modern technology and technical expertise for infrastructure development, aiming to provide advanced and reliable electricity services to consumers.

On the occasion of the commissioning of the new transformer, TPCODL officials and staff members were present.
