Bhubaneswar,28th July 2025:  TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has recently launched a new initiative titled ‘Suraksha Padakhep’ (Safety Measures) aimed at enhancing preparedness and safety during the ongoing monsoon season. This campaign is part of the company’s proactive efforts to ensure uninterrupted power supply and safeguard customers and stakeholders from weather-induced hazards.

The monsoon typically brings challenges such as waterlogging, lightning, and power disruptions, which can potentially lead to electrical accidents. Recognizing these risks, TPCODL is implementing a series of preventive and awareness-oriented safety measures to mitigate such dangers.

TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh emphasized, “Given the heightened risk due to unpredictable weather during monsoons, we are placing utmost priority on safety.
