Timeless Tales: How Understanding Elevates Literary Creations Beyond Time

Bhubaneswar: Among the young literary figures today, the dedication to literary creation indicates a bright future for Odia literature. If the works of these literary figures are understandable to the general reader, they could become timeless, as expressed during the first annual celebration of the Shatarupa Foundation, held at the Buddha Mandir Sabha Hall. Distinguished individuals such as Abhay Kumar Nayak, the Registrar of Nigeria, Professor Dr. Subas Chandra Das of Utkal University, Prasanna Kumar Jena, IAS, and Legislative Member Ananta Narayan Jena spoke about the future of youth leadership in Odisha’s literary journey. The event also hosted a discussion on young leadership in Odisha’s literary landscape.

During the event, five individuals were honored with the Shatarupa Literary Award. Later, a poetry reading festival took place, with Madhusmita Mishra and Vikram Vikram Keshari Champati reciting poems they had written. Kishore B. Kumar Sutar also contributed to the poetry reading.
