Chandahandi, Jan, 15: Shatrughan Das, a Class-IV employee working at the Chandahandi Tehsil Office, was injured in a bike accident this morning while he was on his way from his native village Motigaon to the Chandahandi Tehsil.
At the Bank of Baroda Square, a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with him, as a result of which he sustained a serious injury to his knee. On receiving the information, Chandahandi Tahsildar Sahadev Kutuka, along with other tehsil staff, rushed to the spot, rescued the injured employee, and admitted him to the Chandahandi Community Health Centre.
After receiving primary treatment from Dr. Sukanta Sahu, his condition has been reported to be stable.
