The announcement was made on August 12 under the Government of India’s ambitious India Semiconductor Mission (ISM).

  • Annual Capacity: 60,000 wafers and 96 million packaged units
  • 3D Glass Solutions, Inc.:
  • A state-of-the-art semiconductor packaging facility
  • Backed by global investors including Intel and Lockheed Martin
  • Will produce high-performance components for AI, defense, automotive electronics, and high-performance computing

  • These two projects are part of a ₹4,600 crore national investment package spanning Odisha, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh
