Tears and Tributes as Teacher Bhimasen Bawali Bids Farewell

Raighar,24th July 2025: An emotional farewell ceremony was held for Bhimasen Bawali, the headmaster of Adivasi Parchipara Primary School in Raighar block of Nabarangpur district, on the occasion of his retirement.

According to reports, he began his teaching career in 1988 at Malkangiri MV 104 Madhusudanpur village. After his initial posting, he was transferred to Deobharandi Upper Primary School in Raighar block, where he served for 4 years. Subsequently, he taught at:

  • Dhodrasimda School,
  • Boradihi School for 14 years,
  • Adivasi Paurabela School for 8 years,
  • Kepiganga DNK School for 3 years, and finally

Adivasi Parchipara Government Primary School, where he joined on November 26, 2021.

Today, after officially retiring, he left the school in tears, as students and fellow teachers—including Prabhakar Pattnayak and Manoj Kumar Tarei—became emotional while bidding him farewell.

During the retirement ceremony, several dignitaries and colleagues were present, including:

  • Himanshu Mohan Patra (Parchipara CRCC),
  • Debadas Gand (Teachers’ Association President),

Heeralal Halba, Ram Prasad Gand, Kashinath Halba, Sushant Bala, Ram Sundar Gand, Ramnath Gand, Rajanti Gand, Kuleswar Gand, Sanjay Behera, Bedan Prasad Halba, Chaitram Gand, Bhagat Halba, and Mahendra Gand.

The School Committee Chairman Dasharath Gand also attended the event.
Everyone honored the retiring teacher with flower garlands and bid him a heartfelt farewell, filled with sorrow and gratitude.
