Bhubaneswar: A meeting was held today between the Odisha School and College Teachers’ and Employees’ Coordination Committee and a high-level committee comprising ministers and legislators to discuss various issues faced by teachers and education employees.
The meeting, chaired by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, focused on the demands and challenges of teachers and education staff. Legislators Babu Singh, Ashrit Pattnaik, Irashish Acharya, Ashwini Kumar Sharangi, and Pradyumna Nayak were present as representatives of the high-level committee.
The Law Minister assured that the issues would be discussed with the Chief Minister and the Minister of School and Mass Education, and necessary resolutions would be implemented soon. The Coordination Committee stated in a press release that the discussion was positive.
Among others, Coordination Committee convenor Ranjan Kumar Dash, president Sukanta Kumar Behera, Brajakishore Biswal, Ranjan Kumar Panda, Manikeshwar Swain, Ramakant Mohapatra, and Suresh Dash were present at the meeting.
