Rasulpur, Nov 24: The “Bandhu Parivar” charitable trust of Rasulpur block organized a program to honor talented individuals who have achieved excellence in various fields. Alongside the recognition, a multi-faceted public service program was also conducted.
The talent recognition event was held at the Jagannath Temple premises in Narsinghpur Panchayat, under the chairmanship of Trustee Nimai Panda. The chief guest of the event was Prahlad Panda, representative of the Korei MLA. Other distinguished guests included Sudam Charan Das, Vice-President of the State Cultural Protection Forum, Avinash Dash, organizer of the Cuttack Central Red Cross camp, Dr. Basant Panda, environmentalist Gopinath Pati, former BRCS member Pradeep Samal, retired teacher Kailash Rasa Raut, teacher Ananta Patra, and Rabindra Mishra.
During the program, the trust praised its activities and honored the talented individuals with certificates of recognition and mementos.
In the health sector, Dr. Rashmiranjan Pashayat, officer-in-charge of Madhuban Group Health Center; Ranjit Raut, Rasulpur block representative of Dharitri newspaper; environmentalist Trilochan Pati; and social workers Lokanath Panda, Devi Prasad Sahu, and Hridananda Sahu were also felicitated.
In addition, under the guidance of the guests and trustees, new clothes, blankets, and fodder were distributed. A blood donation camp was also organized during the program, collecting 49 units of blood.
Trustee Bhagaban Dash, founder Nihar Acharya, and volunteers including Chandan Maharana, Shibananda Panda, Samal, Basant Patra, Prashant Swain, Satya Narayan J.Jena, Abhijit Ram, Prashant Barik, Ashok Sahu, Mitu Sahu, Kakuna Barik, and Bikash Mallik contributed to the smooth conduct of the event.
